High-Performance 144V 60Ah Lithium Battery Upgrade for Electric Vehicles

Recently, our engineering team successfully delivered a custom 144V 60Ah lithium battery solution for a client in Germany. The project aimed to revitalize an aging electric vehicle (EV) fleet. By replacing the degraded legacy battery system with our advanced lithium-ion technology, we provided the client with a solution that balances high capacity, enhanced safety, and seamless installation.

The client faced severe performance degradation due to the aging of their original power source. The primary requirements were to maintain the existing installation space while significantly improving the vehicle's range and reliability. Furthermore, the system needed to handle higher discharge loads without compromising the vehicle's electronics.

To meet these requirements, we designed a scalable system utilizing two parallel 144V 30Ah battery packs, delivering a combined capacity of 60Ah.

• Increased Power Output: By paralleling two packs, the system achieves a maximum discharge current of 120A and a peak discharge current of 150A (3 seconds).

• Optimized Charging: The parallel configuration allows for a robust 30A charging current, reducing downtime for the user.

• Intelligent Monitoring: The integrated system features a dedicated display screen that monitors both battery packs simultaneously, providing real-time data for better management.

• Durable Construction: Built with 201 stainless steel and finished with an RAL 9011 Graphite Black coating, the packs are rated IP54, ensuring durability in demanding outdoor environments.

• Thermal Performance: Designed to operate effectively in temperatures ranging from -20°C (discharge) to 50°C (charge).

To maximize the service life of this system, we advise users to maintain the State of Charge (SOC) above 30%. Consistent deep discharge or maintaining a low battery state for extended periods can result in power loss and will void the product warranty.
